Tuesday

Another cold morning! Got up around 8:30 and it was 9C/48F…had been 8C/46F when I went to bed. Had breakfast and heated up sauna.

Uploaded more pictures to Facebook and packed for my visit to Lappeenranta.

Did some multitasking today. Took hot water from the sauna and washed some clothes. Put some more hot water in pans to do dishes. Went to sauna and washed up. Afterwards, I added some more wood to the sauna oven and hung my wet laundry in the sauna to dry.

Later on I washes the dishes, took stuff to the compost pile and shaved. Talked with my folks via Skype…technology sure is amazing! Cooked the old standby marinated chicken and macaroni for dinner 🙂

My cousin Harri arrived in Pihlaja around 5, along with my Aunt Meeri and her granddaughter Laura. I thought I would be going to Lappeenranta tonight but apparently I misunderstood. Harri said he will probably come back to get me on Thursday.

I went with Harri and Meeri to buy some groceries in Virojoki. They all left around 7:30PM. I came back to the cottage, put away groceries and watched some TV.
