Saturday

Woke up around 10:30AM. Worked on my computer awhile, then went back to sleep. Got up in the afternoon and had something to eat.

 

Mikko, Jessica and I went to her parent’s cottage in Lemi in the afternoon. We played some darts, shot the pellet gun, made mountain pies and took lots of pictures.

Later in the afternoon we smoked some salmon and went to sauna. Mikko and I polished off about 10 beers apiece 😉 Not to worry, Jessica was our designated driver.

We packed up our stuff and came back to the apartment. From there, we went to see Mikko’s friend Jani. He was already a bit toasted when we arrived, as were Mikko and myself! Jani lives in a cool little house in the woods with his cat Turo.

The four of us (5 counting Turo) hung out there for a few hours, smoked some cigars and listened to Mikko and Jani jam on their guitars. I sang Guns N’ Roses version of Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door…it sounded pretty good so you know we were pretty trashed LOL.

After our jam session we went back in the house. Jani was soon snoring away. Mikko made sure he was OK before we left. Stopped for pizza downtown, then watched some South Park DVDs. It had been a long day so I quickly crashed zzz.
