Monday
Slept poorly for some reason. Got up around 8 and had some breakfast. Washed the dishes and took a shower.
Walked to the beach and took lots of pix. Invited back to Jenni’s cottage for salmon soup and coffee. Terttu and I went, along with neighbor Leena and her friend Arja.
I returned to our cottage late afternoon and did some computer work. Went to Leena’s in the evening where we played cards and drank wine and beer.
Terttu left early but I hung around a while longer. Leena built a fire and we roasted makkara (sausage). Finally left around 1:30AM.
When I left it was pitch black. They offered me a flashlight but I said no problem. Yes, I am an idiot LOL. Walked the road and forest paths, feeling my way thru the darkness. Made it back home OK, but I almost fell near our cottage…even though I left the porch light on!
Lesson learned! Went to bed sometime after 2AM.
