Friday
Got up around 9:30AM. Washed the dishes and finished packing for Lappeenranta. Went to say my goodbyes to Terttu and her guests.
Harri walked to our cottage and helped me carry all my stuff over to the old family home. Harri, Mirja and I left for Lappeenranta in early afternoon.
We arrived and were greeted by their cat Sophie…and Sophie’s 4-month old kitten Sindi. They are British Shorthairs…so cute!
Harri, Mirja and I had a delicious dinner of salmon, potatoes and salad. We watched an old video of their 2000 visit to the United States.
Their son Mikko and girlfriend Jessica stopped by in the evening. I would be spending a couple nights at their apartment.
We stopped by Citymarket, Alko, Kodin 1 and Kotipizza. Got to their place, had some drinks, watched TV and a DVD of Fargo.
Jessica went to bed. Mikko and I stayed up until about 4AM watching You Tube videos about toilet-trained cats. Hilarious stuff!
