Slept in late this morning and had breakfast. Harri and Mirja spent much of the day cleaning up and packing for the trip back home.

I hobbled around outside on my cane, taking some pictures of the Pertunmaa cottage and the frozen lake. H&M have stayed here many times and I can certainly see why!

Although there is a sauna in the main cottage, we used the stand-alone sauna. Here’s a look at front of the sauna building. The left door takes you to a shower and the sauna, while the right door is for the changing room, complete with fireplace.

The sauna is located right by the lake. Looks like a great place to take an after-sauna swim in the summertime.

Took a few more outdoor photos, including the garage and cross-country skis on the porch. H&M did a lot of skiing during their stay, hopefully I can join them next time.

As we were getting packed, I snapped a couple more pictures of the living room, my bedroom and the loft. The latter was where Sophie the cat spent most of her vacation!

Time to leave soon. We had a big lunch, trying to finish up all the leftovers. Harri packed the car, we got on the road around 4 and were in Lappeenranta by 6.

Since we were all still stuffed from lunch, we had just a small meatpie for supper. Watched a little TV and went to bed early.

Got up around 1030AM, checked my email and had breakfast.

Went shopping with Harri in the afternoon. Picked up a prepaid SIM card for my cell phone at R-Kioski. Also stopped at Anttila (department store), Prisma (supermarket) and Alko (wine and spirits).
